Delco dad charged after infant found under couch

A Brookhaven Borough man has been arrested and charged with recklessly endangering his 5-week-old daughter after she was found stuck under a couch, Radnor Police announced.

A Brookhaven Borough man has been arrested and charged with recklessly endangering his 5-week-old daughter after she was found stuck under a couch, Radnor Police announced.

Chadd Cagle, 35, of Brookhaven, is also charged with endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault.

According to police, on Sunday while at a house on North Wayne Avenue, the infant was found underneath the couch where Cagle was sleeping. He was her sole caretaker at the time. The baby suffered abrasions to the front of both legs.

Cagle was remanded to the Delaware County jail after failing to post ten percent of $50,000 bail.
