Man shot in East Germantown, then arrested

A 22-year-old man was in stable condition after being shot Tuesday night in the city's East Germantown section, police said.

The victim was shot once in the left buttock shortly after 8 p.m. in the 2000 block of West Champlost Avenue. He was taken by private vehicle to Einstein Medical Center.

The victim also was arrested for allegedly possessing drugs. The shooter remained at large. - Robert Moran
