Obama to deliver eulogy for Beau Biden

President Obama will eulogize Beau Biden at a Funeral Mass this weekend for the vice president's son, the White House announced Tuesday.

The service is one of several memorials planned in honor of Biden, 46, a former Delaware attorney general and Iraq war veteran.

Biden, the son of Vice President Biden, died of brain cancer over the weekend.

Obama is slated to speak at a 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Wilmington on Saturday, the White House said.

Other public memorial services scheduled include viewings in Dover and Wilmington.

Beau Biden will lie in honor at the Legislative Hall in Dover from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday.

Additional viewings at St. Anthony Padua in Wilmington are scheduled for Friday, from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m.

The Biden family has requested that donations be made to the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children in lieu of flowers. The foundation's website is http://beaubidenfoundation.org.
