This woman wasn't going to let a robber get away with her phone without a fight.

Police are looking for the assailant who snatched a woman's cellphone and was then chased down by the victim as he tried to flee on his bike.

Philadelphia police said the robbery happened when the 28-year-old woman was walking west on the 1900 block of East Allegheny Avenue in Kensington on May 17.

As the woman approached Jasper Street, the suspect came up behind her on his bicycle and grabbed her phone from her hand, police said.

The victim then grabbed the man's shirt as he tried to get away on the bike.

Surveillance video released Tuesday shows the assailant crashing the bike and the woman continuing to chase after him.

The robber fled after a brief struggle and was last seen running south on Jasper Street.

Officials said no injuries were reported.

The suspect was described as Hispanic, about 20 years old and bearded. He was wearing a dark gray sweater, black pants with a white design on the back pockets and a black cap that read "WR" on the front. He was riding a dark green mountain bike.
