New Delco marketing campaign is unveiled

NEWTOWN SQUARE Delaware County Council is trumpeting the area's assets through a new economic marketing campaign titled "Get the Edge in Delaware County."

Council members detailed the campaign Tuesday for business leaders, municipal officials, university officials, and elected leaders during a presentation at SAP America Inc., a technology company.

"We firmly believe we have distinct advantages in transportation, a skilled workforce, great universities, and other assets that make us competitive," said County Council Chairman Mario J. Civera Jr.

The "Edge" campaign is one of the initiatives developed through the county's 10-year economic development plan, "Growing From Within," that was completed in 2013. - Inquirer staff
