Utility work shuts down two roads

HILLTOWN TWP. Two roads in Hilltown Township - Minsi Trail and Blooming Glen Road - will have modified travel patterns on weekdays until the end of November to allow for utility work, the state Department of Transportation said this week.

Minsi Trail will be closed between Blue School Road and Route 113, PennDot said, and it will be reduced to one lane between Route 113 and Forest Road.

Blooming Glen Road will be reduced to one lane between Route 113 and Harvest Lane, PennDot said.

The restrictions, requested by the township's water and sewer authority, will be in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., PennDot said. - Chris Palmer
