Delco man charged with child porn

A Radnor Township man has been charged with allegedly sharing child pornography online, the Delaware County District Attorney's Office announced.

John William Hesed Forbes, 27, of North Aberdeen Avenue, was charged with multiple counts of possession of child pornography, dissemination of child pornography, and related crimes.

Investigators said Forbes, who worked in security at Philadelphia University, was sharing child pornography from his Wayne home through a peer-to-peer network known as BitTorrent. At least 50 of the images contained children under 18 engaged in sexual acts, many of which depicted infants and toddlers, according to court records.

Forbes was taken to the Delaware County prison with bail set at $75,000. - Mari A. Schaefer
