Mother admits exploitation of daughter, 6

A Philadelphia mother accused of offering her 6-year-old daughter on the Internet for sex pleaded guilty Monday to charges she shot and sent sexually explicit photos of the girl online.

Federal prosecutors say Christine Yoder, 32, of Oxford Circle, made arrangements last year to ship the girl to a Michigan man she met over the Internet.

In online chats, Yoder provided him information to book the girl a flight, sent him the girl's clothing size, and asked if he had a double bed for him and the child to sleep together.

But court filings suggest her plans for future custody of the child were muddled at best.

At one point in their conversation, Yoder purportedly told the man she hoped he would get her daughter pregnant so she could be a grandmother soon.

In a later chat, she said, "I don't want any contact after u take her. That's my 6 year old. Urs now."

The man turned his account over to an undercover FBI agent, who continued the conversation with Yoder. She was arrested in May.

Prosecutors said that Yoder also shot and sent sexually explicit photos of her 16-month-old child.

She faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison at a hearing scheduled for June.
