The Philadelphia murder trial of "Black Madam" Padge-Victoria Windslowe is expected to resume Friday following her release from a hospital after treatment for chest pain.

Windslowe is charged with third-degree murder in the 2011 death of a British dancer who had received silicone injections in a buttocks-enhancement procedure.

Her trial was last in session last Friday. On Monday, Windslowe, 43, complained of chest pain and was taken from the city's prison system to an unidentified Philadelphia hospital. She was discharged and returned to prison Wednesday night, said prison system spokeswoman Shawn Hawes, who had no information about diagnosis or treatment.

When the trial resumes before a Common Pleas Court jury of six women and six men, Windslowe will continue being questioned by Assistant District Attorney Carlos Vega.

Windslowe has testified that she has done thousands of silicone-injection procedures since 1995 and never heard of a death or adverse reaction until Claudia Aderotimi, 20, died Feb. 8, 2011, after buttocks-enhancement injections at a hotel near Philadelphia International Airport.
