A police officer helping a motorist with a disabled vehicle was struck by a pickup truck's mirror in a hit-and-run in Bucks County.

A police officer helping a motorist with a disabled vehicle was struck by a pickup truck's mirror in a hit-and-run in Bucks County.

Middletown Township police said officers were looking for the black Nissan Titan pickup that hit the officer on Langhorne-Yardley Road near Bridgetown Pike at about 7:30 a.m. Friday.

The officer was aiding a disabled motorist when he was struck by the truck's mirror, police said. They did not immediately provide any information about the officer's injuries.

The truck left the scene without stopping.
