Free ID cards for veterans

NEWTOWN Bucks County's Recorder of Deeds Office will offer free veteran identification cards on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bucks County Community College in Newtown.

The cards are good for discounts ranging from 5 percent to 20 percent at more than 1,000 businesses in Bucks County.

Interested veterans must bring their original DD-214. More information about the program is available by calling the Recorder of Deeds Office at 215-348-6209. A list of participating businesses is available on the official county website as well. - Ben Finley
