Cash 5 ticket sold in Bucks hits for $450K

The Pennsylvania Lottery's Cash 5 drawing was hit for $450,000 on Saturday in Bucks County. The ticket with the winning numbers - 16-17-25-27-35 - was sold at the Candlewyck Deli, 2551 Durham Rd., in Buckingham.

On Friday, Jan. 2, the Pa. Lottery's Daily Number drawing turned up 2-2-2. Ticket buyers, 13,953 of them, split a payout of $3.45 million with each winning ticket earning about $250.

According to the state agency, triple twos have been drawn a total of 24 times since the Daily Number began in March 1977. It was the second triple to be drawn last week. On Dec. 29, a drawing of 7-7-7 paid out a total of $5.59 million to 22,547 winners.
