Nursing home receives $2 million in state funding, Corbett announces

LIMA Delaware County's nursing home will receive $2 million in state funding, Gov. Corbett announced in a visit Monday.

Fair Acres Geriatric Center in Lima has 900 residents. The additional funding will go toward improving the lives of residents, purchasing new equipment and maintaining the buildings on its campus, the county announced.

"Our seniors face unique challenges, and our continued investments in their care and quality of life are critical for the future of Pennsylvania," said Corbett, who is running for reelection against Democrat Tom Wolf. - Laura McCrystal
