Broad Street Line subway service was disrupted late Monday night in South Philadelphia by a person who jumped in front of a train, a fire official said.

Around 11 p.m., service was halted in the area of the Oregon Avenue Station. Fire Department responders were told by a train driver that someone jumped in front of a train and disappeared. Crews were searching for the person. - Robert Moran
