Andy Reid's son settles in road-rage suit

The son of former Eagles coach Andy Reid has reached a settlement with a Delaware County man who sued him after a 2007 road-rage encounter.

The lawsuit stemmed from an incident in West Conshohocken in which Britt Reid was accused of pointing a handgun at another motorist, Larry Johnson of Springfield Township. The two men had quarreled while their vehicles were at a stop.

Britt Reid and Johnson settled the civil lawsuit in Montgomery County court this week, according to court documents.

An order from Judge Thomas M. Del Ricci dated Tuesday states that the two parties have reached a settlement.

The court filing did not indicate the amount or terms of the settlement. Neither of the men's attorneys could be reached Thursday evening.
