Man fatally shot in Overbrook
A 27-year-old man was fatally shot in the throat late Friday night near North 55th Street and Lansdowne Avenue in the city's Overbrook neighbhood, police said. He was tranported by private car to the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania. He was pronounced dead at 11:59 p.m. Police have not identified him and are investigating the homicide.
