Woman charged in fatal Bucks hit-and-run

A Bensalem woman was arrested Friday in connection with a hit-and-run accident on Bristol Pike the night before that left a man dead, township police said.

Melissa Rasiul of Bridgewater Road is accused of driving the 2003 GMC pickup truck that fatally struck Vincent Peary of Philadelphia, police said.

Peary was found about 6:45 p.m. lying on the shoulder of the southbound lane in the 4100 block of Bristol Pike. He was pronounced dead at Aria Hospital-Torresdale Campus.

Rasiul is being charged with accidents involving death (hit and run) and driving with a suspended license. Stephen Pagano, also of Bridgewater Road, faces evidence-tampering charges. Police allege that he tried to cover up the accident. - Inquirer staff
