New Jersey State Police said they pulled the body of a woman from the Delaware River near the Burlington Bristol Bridge.

New Jersey State Police said they pulled the body of a woman from the Delaware River near the Burlington Bristol Bridge.

The body was found as authorities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey were searching a missing Bensalem, Bucks County, woman.

However, they say they have not yet positively identified the body.

Police in Bensalem launched a search for Jen Carson, 73, who was last seen leaving a party at a home on Haunted Lane near Bristol Pike about 10 p.m. Wednesday.

The home backs up to the Neshaminy Creek so police focused their efforts on the the creek, the surrounding woods and the Delaware River, where the creek empties.

Emergency workers from Bensalem, Croydon and Philadelphia participated in the search. A Philadelphia police helicopter also surveyed the scene from the skies.

"Carson was reported to be in good health and does not suffer from any preexisting medical or mental issues," said Sgt. Andrew Aninsman of Bensalem's special victims unit.

Carson is described as 5-foot-3, 120 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue and white shirt, dark pants and high heels.
