DRPA bridges reopen to cars only

The Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Betsy Ross and Commodore Barry Bridges reopened to automobile traffic at 4 a.m. today.

The Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Betsy Ross and Commodore Barry Bridges reopened to automobile traffic at 4 a.m. today.

A ban remains in effect for motorcycles, trucks and buses until further notice, the Delaware River Port Authority said.

Speeds are reduced to 35 mph on the spans because of high winds.
