A Northeast Philadelphia man was sentenced Thursday to 2 years in prison for issuing videoed death threats to U.S. Rep. Eric Cantor (R., Va.)

Norman LeBoon, 38, threatened the lives of Cantor and the congressman's family in several rants posted to the video sharing site, YouTube.

In Mar. 2010, LeBoon posted a video in which he said:

"My Congressman Eric Cantor, and you and your cupcake evil wife . . . Remember Eric, our judgment time, the final Yom Kippur has been given. You are a liar, you're a Lucifer, you're a pig, a greedy f--- pig, you're an abomination, you receive my bullets in your office, remember they will be placed in your heads. You and your children are Lucifer's abominations."

LeBoon - who has a history of mental illness, according to his family - was taken into custody by the FBI on Mar. 28, 2010.

Following the arrest, LeBoon told agents that Cantor was "pure evil" and "will be dead." LeBoon pleaded to an information in November charging him with threatening an official of the United States and related counts. In addition to the prison term, he was sentenced to three years supervised release.
