$1,000 reward set in slaying of Bangladeshi immigrant

A $1,000 reward has been posted for information leading to the capture and conviction of Fakhur Uddin's killer. Thugs bound and shot Uddin, 20, to death Wednesday during a robbery in his father's East Germantown store, Rahman Body & Oils, on Germantown Avenue near Chelten Avenue.

The Liberation Fellowship Community Development Corp. posted the reward. Uddin, a student at the Community College of Philadelphia, moved to Philadelphia from Bangladesh seven years ago.
