Clinton to visit Haverford, Mayfair Diner

The Clinton campaign has several stops in the Philadelphia area today.

The most public event will be a Northeast Philadelphia "block party" this evening featuring Hillary Clinton and daughter Chelsea.

The gathering will take place at 8 p.m. outside the Mayfair Diner, 7373 Frankford Ave.

The two will also be at Haverford College at 2 p.m. for a "conversation with families" at Founders Hall, 370 Lancaster Ave.

Chelsea Clinton will also be at Swarthmore College at 11 a.m. Activist Jehmu Green, former president of Rock the Vote, and actress Erika Alexander, of The Cosby Show and Living Single, will join Clinton on the lawn known as Parrish Beach, 500 College Ave.

At 3:45 p.m., the former first daughter will speak to law students at Drexel University's law library, 3320 Market St.

Barack Obama will be back in Philadelphia tomorrow for a 6 p.m. rally at Independence Mall, Fifth and Market Streets. Tickets are not required.

He'll start tomorrow in Western Pennsylvania, then move on to an event in Williamsport, Lycoming County, at 3:30 p.m.

Today, the Illinois Democrat is campaigning in North Carolina.

Bill Clinton will be back in the area tomorrow as well, with stops in Fort Washington, Lansdale and Philadelphia.
