16-year-old shot in Point Breeze home

A teen was wounded Wednesday night during a shooting inside a Point Breeze home.

Police said gunfire broke out shortly before 9 p.m. inside a residence on the 2000 block of Wilder Street.

The victim, a 16-year-old male, was shot once in the inner thigh, according to investigators. He was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Police said his condition was not yet known Wednesday night.

Authorities said a weapon was recovered from inside a vehicle, and that one arrest was made in connection with the crime. Further circumstances surrounding the shooting, including the suspect's identity, were not yet available Saturday night.
