Monday's Child: Kathleen, 15 - KK is a GG ('girly girl")

Kathleen, who prefers to be called KK, thinks of herself as a "girly girl" because she loves fashion, nail polish, makeup, and styling her hair.

The 15-year-old also enjoys craft projects, listening to music, and playing video and card games. She is an excellent Uno player.

Reading is also important to her, and she devotes some of her free time to reading various book series.

Her plans include trying cheerleading, gymnastics, dance, and ice skating. A fast learner, she can pick up any hobby quickly. KK loves the outdoors, and some day she would like to visit Niagara Falls and China.

KK enjoys school and does well in her classes. Although her favorite subjects are gym and computer, she likes learning in general. KK gets along well with her teachers and classmates. Her career plan is to be a lawyer, perhaps a defense attorney.

KK would thrive in a home with a patient, loving family who can spend a lot of time helping her adjust to her new surroundings. It would be best if she is the youngest or only child in the home.

Kathleen and other children are available for adoption. For information, contact Paige Roller at the National Adoption Center.
