Cause and Celebration: CHOP's Blue Tag Gala

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia held its 2016 Blue Tag Gala on Oct. 22 in the Hyatt at the Bellevue's grand ballroom in Philadelphia. The Blue Tag Gala is the largest recurring fund-raiser for the Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center at CHOP, which treats more than 1,000 patients a year. More than 270 people attended the black-tie event, which included a silent auction, cocktail reception, dinner, and dancing. More than $176,000 was raised to fund sickle-cell patient care, treatment, and research.
