Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center hosted Philly Fights Cancer Round 2 on Oct. 15 at the Legacy Youth Tennis Organization in Philadelphia, which was transformed into a ballroom and concert hall. More than 1,300 people were in attendance, including Leonard and Madlyn Abramson, Dr. John Glick, and other top doctors, executives, and area philanthropists. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour, sit-down dinner, and performances by Lionel Richie, Jennifer Hudson, and Tig Notaro. The event, Penn's leading fund-raiser for the Abramson Cancer Center - a world leader in cancer research, patient care, and education - brought in $5.4 million to support research and clinical trials.
