Keystone Choir for Peace; Free Eddie!; LiLo goes and goes; Sir Paul at 70?
Keystone Boychoir sings for peaceOn Saturday, the Keystone State Boychoir of Philly was at the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo. Why? To serenade Burma's Aung San Suu Kyi, who won the Nobel Prize for peace in 1991 but was prevented by the government from traveling to Sweden to accept it. She got her chance Saturday. After her speech, our KSB and host boychoir Sølvguttene sang out. Jaleel Bivins of Penn Charter presented Suu Kyi and King Harald V of Norway with greetings from Philly Mayor Nutter plus little Liberty Bells. The KSB, on tour in memory of the young people killed last summer on Utøya Island, moved on to Aurland on Monday and Bergen on Tuesday. As for Suu Kyi, on Monday she met Bono of U2, who said he was "starstruck." The two joined a panel of peace activists for a Q&A in Oslo, then jetted away to Dublin for a concert in her honor. A new cure for exhaustion!
OK, so Lindsay Lohan (a) worked 85 hours in four days for her TV biopic Liz & Dick; (b) was treated in hospital for exhaustion; and (c) responded Saturday by zooming straight from the set (in Liz Taylor makeup and hair!) to L.A. club Chateau Marmont, where she partied till 1 a.m., according to Blabbermouths. She was hangin' with the man-type males, and also Ashley Benson (Pretty Little Liars), Busy Philipps (Cougar Town), and Haylie Duff, sis of Hillary. Youth's wonderful. So is surviving it.
