Tonys: Ratings disaster

If Broadway doesn't know how to put on a show, who does? The theater community pulled out all the stops Sunday, returning dynamic Neil Patrick Harris to host and showering the hip musical Once with eight trophies.

And in the end, the 66th Annual Tony Awards delivered the lowest ratings ever. It was watched by an average of 6 mil viewers. That's nearly 1 mil fewer than last year, when it was up against an NBA Finals game.

It delivered a 1.0 rating in the 18-to-49-year-old demographic, a precipitous drop of 17 percent from last year. A repeat of Family Guy fared better on Fox. Sunday's show now outranks 2008 (6.3 mil viewers, 1.1 rating) as the low point for the Great White Way's Big Night.

So this is a nice change: Arquette on Monday underwent a bar mitzvah coming-of-age ceremony during his first visit to Jerusalem. An emotional Arquette read his first Torah portion ever and placed phylacteries on his head and tattooed arm in front of the Western Wall.

"He was very emotional, saying he was happy to be part of the chain of the Jewish people," said Shmuel Rabinowitz, the rabbi of the Western Wall. "Finally I'm a man," Arquette later tweeted.

Arquette's mom was born Jewish, while his father is a convert to Islam.

The ‘Jersey Shore' follies

A series of nude self-portraits of a prepregnancy Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi taken by the diminutive novelist on her cellphone have leaked online. "Clearly these are old and personal photos that were not meant for the public," her rep tells Us Weekly.

Meanwhile, TMZ says Snooki's Jersey Shore costar Jenni "J-Woww" Farley sprained her ankle after getting into a bar fight on Friday. And Deena Cortese was arrested Sunday for disorderly conduct after nearly causing a car crash when she danced her way into traffic on a busy street.

Blake Lively: I'm normal

"People like to draw parallels between my life and the scandalous stories on Gossip Girl," Blake Lively, 24, tells Marie Claire mag. She's nothing like that, Blake insists. For one thing, she doesn't sleep around: She's had only four boyfriends. Like, ever. "I've been with very few people. If I'm not with somebody who really excites or inspires me, then I'd rather be by myself," says Blake, who chose not to discuss her new man, Ryan Reynolds.
