The Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey today will unveil plans today to expand its building in Camden, which will allow it to provide more services to the hundreds of families it helps every year.

A home-away-from-home for seriously ill children and their families, the Ronald McDonald House has been in Camden since 1983. It started in a twin Victorian, and moved to its current location, on Martin Luther King Boulevard, in 1998.

Among those expected to be on hand today at the expansion announcement are Denise Viola-Monahan, president of Ronald McDonald House of Southern N.J., Teddy Thomas, the agency's executive director, and John Sheridan, president & CEO of Cooper University Hospital.
