Report: Revel casino buyer backs out

The company approved to buy the bankrupt Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City has canceled the deal.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, a spokeswoman for Brookfield U.S. Holdings LLC told the paper it would "walk away from the transaction."

Brookfield had agreed in October to buy the casino for $110 million, beating a Florida developer's bid of $95.4 million.
