From one of our favorite local chocolatiers comes a decadent new hot chocolate: Hot Eclat.

Simply stir the chocolate pod-on-a-stick in a glass of hot milk, then sip and savor.

It's a world of difference from the instant stuff. But then again, so is the price.

We get a lot of frozen-dinner samples in this office, and most are not worthy of recommendation. But this garlic lasagna passed the taste test, with its thick noodles and hearty meat sauce. The quick cooking time, about 20 minutes in the microwave, is another bonus.

Once you taste the richness of the newest flavor from Green & Black's, it's tough to go back to the regular supermarket variety. This one, made with milk chocolate with a 34 percent cocoa content, is sprinkled with crisp, crunchy pieces of organic toffee.
