The winter food swap featured everything from dily beans, freshly made butter, cranberry bitters, chicken and pork belly sausage and homemade nutella, Vass writes.

"It can be tempting to rush through the tables and continuously stuff your mouth with edibles so you don't have to talk to anyone, but it's just not friendly," she writes."You've already got something in common to talk about, you're halfway to a conversation!"
