The new apartment building known at 2040 Market St. - the former AAA headquarters between 20th and 21st Streets, across from Commerce Square - has a deal with the state for a new Wine and Spirits store, which will open next spring.

The LCB confirmed this development.

What this means for the current State Store at 1913 Chestnut St. - only about two blocks away - is anyone's guess, as the LCB says all locations will be reviewed.
