Gino's Burgers closes its Bensalem location

POSTED: Friday, February 8, 2013, 2:52 PM

The Gino's Burgers & Chicken outlet in Bensalem is now buttoned up after 90 days.

"Conflicting interests" is the official explanation; unlike the flagship location in King of Prussia, the Bensalem location was owned by a franchise group.

It also had a drive-thru - something that Gino's never had years ago and in its new incarnation.

Besides KoP, there are five other locations in Maryland, including one at Camden Yards.

Bensalem has had a checkered past with burger chains. Sonic Drive-In opened, closed, and later reopened its Street Road joint last year.

Does that mean I can default on the loan I took out to get 2 burgers and fries from there?

Last time I was there, I ordered jalepenos on my cheeseburg and they gave me three. What a joke.

prices were too high -- yeah,it's "too", not "to ... $ 8.00 for a Giant and fries ..aside from that, the service in Bensalem left much "to" be desired. And the Giant sauce is different from the original Giant sauce;proof that you really can't go home again ...
