When some people think of the Christmas season, they might think of gifts, holiday parties, cookie exchanges or decorating the house in seasonal cheer.

Others think of Christmas beer.

Philly’s Joe Sixpack, Don Russell, writes on CraftBeer.com: “Christmas beer is not a style, it’s a tradition. It needn’t be spicy or strong, sweet or dark; it need only be special, a gift to be shared in the spirit of the holiday with family and friends.”

Our Special Ale tops his list as the “granddaddy of Christmas beer,” followed by the “East Coast cult favorite,” Mad Elf.

All 12, all garbage, right? Twelve different breweries who don't know what they are doing, right? Your post says more about you that it does about these beers or Joe.
