Three evenings and one big Sunday constitute this lodge-grown festival featuring local cover bands, a raffle, a bouncy house, and a watermelon-eating contest. This 40-something-year-old, all-ages local contest takes place, reasonable conditions permitting, on the north side of the Ventnor Fishing Pier. Regulars know to sign up beforehand and arrive by 7 a.m. to make their heats.
