Outlander. Here's the episode fans have waited for since the third season began, as time traveler Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) are reunited in 18th century Scotland.  Speaking of time: This one runs about 76 minutes, but then those two have a lot of catching up to do. 8 p.m. Sunday, Starz.

The Simpsons. A Halloween tradition continues, with "Treehouse of Horror XXVIII." 8 p.m. Sunday, Fox.

The Walking Dead. The eighth season begins. How much further can the dead walk? 9 p.m. Sunday, AMC.

The Goldbergs. The Jenkintown-centric sitcom marks its 100th episode with a Halloween-themed episode in which Star Wars devotee Adam (Sean Giambrone) discovers that his otherwise-perfect geek girlfriend Jackie (Rowan Blanchard) likes (gasp)  Star Trek. Meanwhile, Beverly (Wendi McLendon-Covey) continues the search for life beyond her children. 8 p.m. Wednesday, ABC.

Blindspot. New night, new tattoos, new mysteries. Jaimie Alexander returns for a third season as the much decorated Jane. Expect a time jump  and some personal drama since last we saw her and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) together. 8 p.m. Friday, NBC.

Stranger Things 2.  Here's the official word on the second season/sequel to last year's streaming phenomenon: "It's 1984, and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana, are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down, but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived."  Oct. 27, Netflix.

Fearless. Helen McCrory (Peaky Blinders) and Michael Gambon star in a six-part British drama about a lawyer (McCrory) who sets out to prove the innocence of a man convicted of killing a schoolgirl. Oct. 27, Amazon Prime.

Flint. Philadelphia's Jill Scott and Queen Latifah star in a movie about the  discovery of the contaminated water supply in Flint, Mich., where whistle-blowers uncovered a massive environment scandal. 8 p.m. Oct. 28, Lifetime.
