CBS3's Jessica Dean will host a 'Mary Tyler Moore' marathon on the CW this weekend

CBS3 anchor Jessica Dean is a major Mary Tyler Moore fan. This weekend, she'll pay tribute to the show's star and cocreator, Mary Tyler Moore, who passed away last week.

Dean will host a Mary Tyler Moore marathon on the CW Philly Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. The CBS3 anchor will be joined by WOGL's Marilyn Russell to discuss the importance of Moore's role both on TV and off.

"I'm a big believer that if you can't see something, you can't be something. If she could do it, I could do it," Dean said last week in a piece about Moore's influence on local newscasters, such as Fox 29's Lucy Noland. "She gave me this idea that you can be a smart, capable woman and also care about fashion and girlfriends. When I was at that age, I was thinking about what it means to be a young woman in our world."

In addition, Decades is also airing a Mary Tyler Moore marathon on Saturday and Sunday, broadcasting every epiosde of the show.
