Staying in? Ellen Gray's TV picks
CBS wants to make sure you get every chance to see Teá Leoni's debut as a maverick secretary of state, so it's sandwiching the show around "The Good Wife."
* MADAM SECRETARY. 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. Sunday, CBS3.
CBS wants to make sure you get every chance to see Teá Leoni's debut as a maverick secretary of state, so it's sandwiching the show around "The Good Wife." (The second airing is a repeat, and thanks to football, all times are approximate.) I'm happier with the show's office politics than with whatever the underlying conspiracy is - so many TV conspiracies, so little time - but I love Leoni, whose dry wit has been missing from TV for far too long.
* THE GOOD WIFE. 9:30 p.m. Sunday, CBS3.
Broadcast TV's best drama returns with Alicia (Julianna Margulies) facing a particularly scary new crisis at the office just as Eli (Alan Cumming) presses her to consider a run for state's attorney.
* BEYONCÉ JAY Z ON THE RUN. 9 p.m. Saturday, HBO.
Couldn't make it to Paris last week to see Beyoncé and Jay Z wrap up their world tour? Worry not - HBO was at Stade de France, recording for two nights. Tune in to see if Nicki Minaj's surprise appearance made the cut.
* OUTLANDER. 9 p.m., Starz.
As if things in Scotland weren't heated enough right now, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) finally get to their wedding night. Best bring something to fan yourself.
