Rick Ross raps about date rape, says sorry

Rick Ross is stumbling and fumbling on his words, trying to make up for some more-than-suggestive lyrics in his latest song "U.O.E.N.O." (pronounced "You Don't Even Know"). Plain and simple, Ross raps shamelessly about date rape:
"Put Molly all in her champagne, She ain't even know it. I took her home and I enjoyed that, She ain't even know it."
See why everyone's so mad? Ross offered up an apology on New Orleans radio station Q93.3 almost immediately after people began picking up on the distasteful lyrics. "Woman is the most precious gift known to man," he said. "And there was a misunderstanding with a lyric...a misinterpretation where the term rape was used. I would never use the term rape, you know, in my lyrics. And as far as my camp, hip hop don't condone that, the streets don't condone that, nobody condones that."
Very nice Ross, and as a women I appreciate your love. But, this just seems like a distracting cover up to avoid the real facts here–those words are very literal. He never got around to explaining how the lyrics were misinterpreted so there is no justifying it. We'll be waiting, Mr. Boss.
