Listen to Vampire Weekend's new album, 'Modern Vampires of the City'

It's been a few years since they released their much anticipated 2010 sophomore album Contra.

We're pretty excited to take a full listen to Vampire Weekend's latest album. It's been a few years since they released their much anticipated 2010 sophomore album Contra.

With their newest disc's official release being a week from today–May 14th–the band is scheduled to perform live on this week's SNL alongside host Kristen Wiig. They've also announced a number of world tour dates, making their closest stop at Firefly Music Festival in Dover, DE on June 23rd. A weekend pass is currently going for $258.

Contrary to what you you would expect from the usually upbeat band, lead man Ezra Koenig has expressed in an interview with Q Magazine that their latest is "dark", "organic", and that it "really does feel like the third chapter in a book."

You can stream Modern Vampires of the City in full now over at the iTunes Store.
