All Eyez on Me. Biography of iconic rapper, poet, actor, activist Tupac Shakur (Demetrius Shipp Jr.), directed by Philadelphia's Benny Boom and starring Kat Graham, Jamal Woolard. Not screened for critics. (R) Area theaters.

Book of Henry. A woman and her altruistic son Jaeden Lieberher devise a plan to help the endangered child who lives next door. Also starring Sarah Silverman. (PG-13) Ritz Five and AMC Voorhees.

Manifesto. Director/artist Julian Rosefeldt's experimental film featuring Cate Blanchett in 13 vignettes designed to illustrate important 20th-century artistic movements. Not rated.  Ritz at the Bourse.

Kill switch. Director Tim Smit's sci-fi extravaganza about a future-world pilot (Dan Stevens) on a desperate mission to save mankind. Berenice Marlohe and Charity Wakefield. (R) AMC Voorhees.
