5 great perfumes to give as gifts

Gucci Guilty. Gucci's newest scent is predicted to be one of the industry's best-selling fragrances for the holiday season. With its lilac, pepper, and amber notes it smells awesome. Someday Justin Bieber. Cute! That's the only way to describe Justin Bieber's new perfume, Someday. It smells fruity, with mandarin and pear notes. Someday is aimed at tweens, but we took a whiff and think it's positively grown up. (3.4 ounce bottle, $59.50 at Nordstrom.)

Beyoncé Pulse. The follow-up to Beyoncé's record-smashing fragrances Heat and Heat Rush is the third Coty fragrance from this former Destiny's Child and soon-to-be-mom. The perfume, a blend of citrus, floral, and orchid notes, packs a pungent pop. Special ingredient: a hint of Blue Curacao liqueur - talk about spraying on your happy hour. Wonderstruck Taylor Swift. Elizabeth Arden teamed up with country pop star Taylor Swift to create Wonderstruck. The name comes from Swift's song "Enchanted." As with most of this season's holiday scents, Wonderstruck smells fruity; the top notes in this perfume are raspberry, dewberry, and apple blossom. (Gift set, $65 at Macy's.)

Vince Camuto Eau de Parfum. Handbag and shoe designer Vince Camuto launched his first fragrance in September. The perfume industry's savvy scenters say it is extremely sexy, but still great for everyday wear. We particularly like Vince Camuto Eau de Parfum because it incorporates vanilla, patchouli, and hot Brazilian amber for a musky aroma. (Gift sets include the 3.4 ounce bottle; $85 at Macy's)
