With 'Fantastic Four' floundering at Fox, here's hoping Marvel's First Family is brought into the MCU.

Fox may have seven Marvel movies slated from 2019 to 2021, most of them X-pected to be X-related, but recent rumors suggest the studio will take another swing at Marvel's First Family, the "Fantastic Four."

If at first, and at second, you don't succeed…

The word is that Fox wants to do an Incredibles-like take that will feature Reed and Sue Richards' kids.

Many are lukewarm to this idea and can you blame them.

Which is why, despite Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige's protestations and denials this past week, it still seems like SDCC could be an ideal place to announce that the Fantastic Four is back in the MCU family.

For starters, there is no better place to re-introduce Marvel's top cosmic characters – and their cosmic villains – than next year's Avengers: Infinity War.

Second, the MCU is fresh off what they feel is a triumphant return of their most popular character in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Third, Disney/Marvel did not give away the rights for Fox to do X-TV shows like Legion for nothing.

Fourth, what better way to celebrate the recent 100th birthday of the late Jack "King" Kirby than to bring his beloved co-creations home?
