Nicki Minaj has postponed her forthcoming North American "NickiHndrxx" tour, but local fans will still be able to see her at Made In America next month.

The NickiHndrxx tour had been scheduled to begin Sept. 21 in Baltimore, but the start of the tour's U.S. leg now has been pushed back to May 2019; it will launch with a European leg in February. No Philadelphia or Camden dates were scheduled as part of the tour.

New dates have not yet been announced. However, due to scheduling conflicts, former co-headliner Future will not participate in the new tour dates, according to a statement from Live Nation.

Ticketholders in the U.S. can request refunds from the outlets and venues where they purchased tickets.

The announcement comes following the release earlier this month of Minaj's latest studio album, Queen, and her surprise performance at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this week. Prior to the postponement, there had been unverified rumors that ticket sales for the tour were "in the toilet," Page Six reported.

Minaj explained the tour's postponement via a video on Twitter, saying that pushing her album back two months forced a delay for live shows.

"I just finished writing and recording literally hours before the album came out, so now I simply don't have the time to rehearse," Minaj said. "I really apologize, but it'll be worth it."

Minaj is still scheduled co-headline the Made In America festival here in Philadelphia alongside Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone and former fling Meek Mill on Sept. 1 and 2, as she wrote online. Set times for the festival have not yet been announced.
