Girls Trip star Tiffany Haddish took Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith on an impromptu trip to a tour of a New Orleans swamp, thanks to Groupon and marijuana.

Haddish stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday to relay her tale of a day on the bayou with Pinkett Smith, who she co-stars alongside in the newly released Girls Trip, and her Philly native husband, Will Smith. Initially, Haddish told host Kimmel, she didn't think the Smiths would actually come along on the Groupon tour with her.

So, naturally, she smoked "a whole bunch of weed because the doctor" said to. It was only after she was sufficiently stoned that Haddish got a call from Pinkett Smith to confirm that she and will would be tagging along with comedian.

Stoned to the gills, Haddish said she then drove a cheap rental car over to where the Smiths were staying and picked them up. Rather than swap to a different car, Haddish said that she ultimately ended up driving the Smiths down to the tour in her own vehicle.

The gravity of the situation, however, seemed to register with Haddish, who told Kimmel that she did not want to be the person "on TMZ who killed the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."

Pinkett Smith, who was unaware what Groupon is and expected a private tour, was surprised to see others waiting for a boat to go on the tour with the group. Haddish smoothed things over with a joke, noting that she "got a $20-a-day rental" so "why would I have my own boat?"

"I got a discount ticket to get on a swamp," Haddish told Kimmel, "we're about to have $66 worth of fun, girl."

The Fresh Prince, however, did have to put up with a little ribbing from fans, particularly relating back to Philadelphia.

"Will sits down and this really drunk guy comes on and goes, 'Hey, Will, what part of Philadelphia are you from?' He goes, 'West Philadelphia.' [The man] goes 'Ah ha! Born and raised,'" Haddish said.

Smith apparently took it well, with Haddish saying that he told her that he had to "get me one of these." Meaning a swamp.

"I was like, 'You're going to buy a whole ecosystem?'" Haddish joked.

Pinkett Smith, meanwhile told a similar version of the story on a recent appearance on The Tonight Show, saying that the trio had "the best time ever."

Girls Trip, about a group of friends who travel to New Orleans for a festival, is out in theaters today.
