Bradley Cooper shoots 'A Star Is Born' at Glastonbury, introduces Kris Kristofferson

Bradley Cooper stopped by the Glastonbury Festival in the U.K. over the weekend, where he filmed some scenes for his upcoming movie A Star Is Born prior to introducing outlaw country music star Kris Kristofferson for a set.

Cooper, a former Daily News intern turned Hollywood heartthrob, was spotted at the British festival on Friday performing for the crowd with his guitar’s volume turned off, NME reports. The Montgomery County-raised Cooper previously filmed similar scenes for the Lady Gaga-starring flick at Coachella in April, according to Billboard.

The star’s Glastonbury appearance lasted “a good few minutes,” NME writes, before Cooper went on to introduce Kristofferson, 81. The country singer was later joined on stage by Johnny Depp for renditions of “The Silver Tongued Devil and I” and “Sunday Morning Coming Down.”

“You guys were awesome, that was great,” Cooper reportedly told the crowd following filming. “It’s my sheer pleasure to introduce Kris Kristofferson.”

A fitting intro, given that Kristofferson previously starred in a 1976 version of A Star Is Born alongside Barbra Streisand — the film’s third iteration. Cooper’s A Star Is Born will serve as the story’s fourth version after the 1937 original, a 1954 version starring Judy Garland and James Mason, and the Kristofferson/Streisand film, as Billboard notes.

In addition to filming for A Star Is Born at Glastonbury, Cooper also had some fun with a fellow star by photobombing Brad Pitt as the actor attempted to get a selfie with a fan:

A Star Is Born is currently slated for a Sept. 28, 2018 release. It is the first project for Cooper as a new dad, with the star having welcomed his first child with girlfriend Irina Shayk, Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper, back in April.
