THIS KIND of behavior could get a guy killed in New Jersey.

NBC News reports that Claudio Bevilacqua, a paramedic who was called to aid James Gandolfini after The Sopranos' star suffered a fatal heart attack in 2013, went on trial Monday in Rome for allegedly snatching the $3,000 Rolex Submariner off the actor's cold, dead wrist.

Talk about cold. He could be Tony Soprano's mother.

However, it is possible that the watch vanished before the actor collapsed. Possibly from his hotel room. Or maybe he accidentally left it at the Bada Bing.

After only a few minutes of proceedings Monday, the trial was postponed until November.

Local teen on 'Steve Harvey'

Steve Harvey (2 p.m., NBC10) looks back at some of his most memorable guests today, and two of them are Tammi Grovatt-Dawkins of Marlton, and her 18-year-old son Matt Dawkins, a senior at Cherokee High School.

Tammi and Matt appeared on Harvey's Mother's Day show in 2015 because Matt and his twin sister Jada nominated Tammi as a "Mother of the Year."

The twins wanted to celebrate their mom, not just because of her love and support, but also because of her acceptance of Matt's decision to undergo gender reassignment and transition . . . from Maya.

Matt tells Harvey that he is finishing his second year competing on the boys' track team and will soon finish his senior year. ESPN has been following Matt's track season for a story to air this summer.

Tammi tells Steve that the $5,000 they received from the show allowed the family to pay for the first part of Matt's surgery after their insurance company reversed its decision to pay.

Punch Line gets set-up

There's some funny business going on in Fishtown, and Live Nation is behind it.

Nearly a year after adding to the local music scene with the opening of The Fillmore Philadelphia, Live Nation is set to open a comedy club next door.

The 300-seat Punch Line will start to bring the laughs in July. It will feature VIP seating (where the jokes are even funnier), an outdoor patio (where the insults are colder ... except when it's really hot), and of course food, beer and cocktails (which make everything funnier).

Canada's funniest man, Russell Peters (Last Comic Standing, Chef), will be the grand-opening comedian July 8-10. Peters will be followed by Bill Bellamy from Last Comic Standing and Russell Simmons' def Comedy Jam (July 14-16), Robert Kelly from FX's Louie, (July 21-23), Marlon Wayans from White Chicks and Scary Movie (Aug. 4-6), Chilean American impressionist/sound machine Pablo Francisco (Aug. 10-13), Deon Cole from ABC's Black-ish, TBS' Angie Tribeca and Barbershop 2, (Aug. 18-20) and Nikki Glaser, host of Comedy Central's new Not Safe with Nikki Glaser (Aug. 25-27).

Live Nation also owns and operates Punch Line venues in San Francisco and Sacramento, but this is their first comedy club on the East Coast.

"Philadelphia has an amazing comedy heritage and Punch Line Philly will feature the world's best comedians in a one-of-a-kind Fishtown vibe with great sightlines, food and beverage," said President of Live Nation's House of Blues Entertainment Division Ron Bension. "Our commitment to the Fishtown neighborhood runs deep and we're excited to share this new offering."

Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at www.punchlinephilly.com.

TATTBITS

* Rockers including Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam and Boston have canceled concerts in North Carolina over the state's new bathroom law.

Add classical violinist Itzhak Perlman to the list.

Perlman canceled his May 18 performance in Raleigh, as announced in a Facebook post Tuesday. He was scheduled to perform with the North Carolina Symphony.

In the post, Perlman says he has spent a lifetime opposing discrimination toward those with physical disabilities and as a vocal advocate of treating all people equally. When he was a child, Perlman contracted polio, and learned to walk using crutches.

Kesha will not be performing at this Sunday's Billboard Music Awards after Dr. Luke's label Kemosabe took back the permission it had originally granted.

Even though Kesha has accused Luke of sexual abuse and emotional torment, she has not been able to get the courts to void her contract and free her from the label. Negotiations continue to see if Luke will change his mind again.
