Take a piece of Paul home - for a price

That Paul McCartney souvenirs will be on sale at Sunday night's concert here is hardly newsworthy. Most bands peddle "merch" at their gigs. But the inventory inside the Infinity Live! complex on Pattison Avenue east of Broad Street will include some rather out-of-the-ordinary items - limited-edition prints of some of Sir Paul's paintings. These and more will be on display and sold from 4 p.m. until an hour after the concert ends.

"He has only released seven signed works," explained Scott Segelbaum, president/curator of RockArtShow.com. "Five [will be] on display Sunday, including 'Chief Rug,' his first new piece in 10 years. He's really into painting, but he just hasn't put out a lot to the public."

According to Segelbaum, McCartney limits reproductions to 200, each hand-signed, adding, "He never puts originals on sale."

If you are interested in owning a signed McCartney print, bring your checkbook: Segelbaum said prices start at $4,000.
