Baby to make 3 for 6ABC anchor at 4

6ABC's Alicia Vitarelli had some excellent news of her own to report last Friday. She and hubby Matthew Pantaleno are expecting their first child.

Vitarelli, co-anchor of Action News at 4, surprised a shocked Brian Taff during the newscast with the sonogram picture.

Villanova grad Vitarelli has been married to Pantaleno since 2007. She's been with 6ABC since 2010.

Veteran newsman Jim Rosenfield will join NBC10's weeknight anchor desk with Renee Chenault-Fattah, Vai Sikahema and Jacqueline London starting Sept. 9. Rosenfield, who has been in the biz since '81, was most recently at the NBC affiliate in Washington, D.C., where he served as weekend anchor.

There he covered the inauguration, the Gen. David Petraeus/Paula Broadwell scandal and Superstorm Sandy. Rosenfield did stints in New York, Houston and Chicago.

On Thursday, Cole and Heidi Hamels threw their fourth annual Diamonds and Denim charity fundraiser, benefiting education in Philadelphia and Malawi, Africa, at Vie, on North Broad.

Lots of Cole's teammates (and some former "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" contestants) helped the Hamelses raise cash, and they did well by the high-class yet casual theme. Jonathan Papelbon rocked a fly rhinestone bow tie. John Mayberry Jr. GQ-styled in mustard pants and a navy button-down. Mike Adams donned a fly blue-plaid blazer with matching blue-and-white sneaks.

But who took top-dressed honors, according to the man of the hour?

"Kevin Frandsen," Cole said, referring to Frandsen's spectacular bedazzled loafers. "I saw him in the locker room and I didn't think he would actually wear them. He said, 'I will wear these for one event and one event only.' "

Sports fans know the voice of Don Henderson, who used to call Sixers games and Temple University football and basketball games. Henderson has been busy since retirement, marrying longtime love Elaine Galemba in a boisterous ceremony last week. "I keep saying to Elaine, at our age, you don't have to worry about the seven-year itch," Henderson said.

Henderson dated Elaine, who will change her name to Henderson, for 15 years before they finally decided to tie the knot. "The time was right," Henderson said about their decision to wed. The couple were introduced by friends at a tennis game ("Now we play golf," Elaine joked), two years after Henderson's first wife died. "I waited a long time in between [marriages]," Henderson said. "I wanted to make sure I got the right one twice."

The new Elaine Henderson wore a peach crochet lace-and-sequin dress by Tadashi, with a scalloped border on the edge, and carried a bouquet of calla lilies.

The couple will leave for their honeymoon next week, where they'll explore California wine country.

I hear that a crew from "Storage Wars" stopped by Geno's Steaks last week. The A&E reality show features treasure hunters who buy in-default storage lockers and resell the goods for a profit. I wonder what Philly finds they'll discover.
